Adelaide interchanges need to be better fed with buses and car parks, researchers say

Recent article on abc.net.au on new research calling for “a rethink of public transport feeder services to overcome a “spatial mismatch” hindering usage”. Also about a separate research report arguing for more direct bus routes that bypass the CBD.

BusSA believes that last mile solutions such as those proposed by the SA Government need to be trialled first. It’s the only way to find out how users will respond. We would prefer to see government investment in feeder services rather than parking – it would do more to decrease congestion.
